Remember My Footprints was founded by Christy Fetterman in February 2013. Christy and her husband Roy lost their second child due to a explainable second trimester miscarriage in February 2010. Christy had a difficult time coming to terms with their loss. She often felt like she was not permitted to grieve for her unborn child. For the next three years, Christy would walk her journey of grief by herself. As the three year anniversary approached, Christy was feeling more alone then ever. At that same time, a friend of Christy's lost her daughter during her second trimester. Christy knew the pain that her friend would suffer, and she immediately reached out to her. However, Christy knew that there had to be many women who were grieving in silence. It was then that she decided that it was time to break the silence. Remember My Footprints was established with just 3 members, but it has since grown to more then 480 members. Christy and the Remember My Footprints leaders are dedicated to walking with families who have lost a child during pregnancy, birth, or infancy on their journey of healing.

Tabatha Haupt never expected to be a member of a pregnancy and infancy loss support group. From a young age she was told she could never have children. Despite this diagnosis she had given birth to two healthy little boys. Tabatha and her husband wanted a third child but after many months of trying things were starting to look bleak. Just as their hopes were starting to diminish Tabatha became pregnant with baby number three. Little did she know that just three short months later her precious child would pass away. In March of 2013, the baby's heartbeat ceased to exist. Tabatha heard of Remember My Footprints through facebook and with hesitation decided to come to a monthly meeting. Little did she know that going to the meeting would change her life. Tabatha soon took on a leadership role in the group and now works hand and hand with Christy reaching out to families in our community and around the world who have lost a child or children during pregnancy, birth or infancy.
